Reindeer On Mainstreet Mean Refined Antlers & A New Hanover Chic

	CONSIDER THIS   Male reindeer normally shed their antlers, which are larger than the antlers of females, after the "rut," ( breeding season ) which ends months before the Holiday Season.  Females retain their antlers until or past January. Holiday reindeer are depicted with and without antlers, as above. But, sleigh reindeers are always depicted having antlers.  So, are Santa's reindeer all females?       HANOVER MERCHANTS... IT'S BEEN TOO LONG A TIME!   Hats off to you for hanging-in without an exciting, new, permanent mascot or symbol other than than the traditional College shield.   You should welcome the reindeer, regardless of The College's decision or indecision, because reindeer in art, fashion, and souviners range from Horchow to hokey... with price points all in between.   Unlike moose which cannot be dressed up, reindeer are town and country!   Cha-Ching!   As savvy merchants, you surely have your preferred style and fashion in buying.   Below are a few links.  Some may whet your appetite.   And if you like what you read in this site, let The College know.
