I "speak" in the 1st
person; a 3rd person "voice" is ridiculous.
This page is about
my life... not "his." I wrote it... "he" didn't.
If we get together,
work will be performed by me... not "him!"

Well, sort of... I don't mention matters such
as my sending a funeral wreath
to Wall Street bank because the
prospect took so long to make a decision
that I thought that he died of analysis
paralysis.
The Ribbon read... "R.I.P Andy"
Oh yeh, it was a real Big Hit!
The stunt almost cost me my position...
but, hey... I made the sale!
$27,500.00 in '83 for 2 tapes
of software was worth the gambit.

The Road Of Life Is Always

I'm experienced in all the aspects of marketing;
products, promotions, pricing, and placement; business-to-business and business-to-consumer; direct and indirect; infield
and remote; and hi-tech to no-tech. I remain affiliated with specialized market service organizations to complement comprehensive
core capabilities.
For over 20 years, I marketed leading
cyber technology to improve business information systems: Mainframe hardware and software, timesharing services, distributed
information systems, micro-based applications, database systems / services, consulting, training and a full range of marketing
services. (See Footnote)
I'm a former VP of Sales/Director of Marketing who grew a young software company
from $100,000 to $5,000,000 per year (big bucks back then)... and an IPO... within four years (1979-1983). Average sale of
$30,000+ (sold by telephone).
I've held positions in other computer
technology companies, of which oddly, my years in computer timesharing are proving most valuable with
Internet ASPs... And so, I've established my current WorldWideWebID and COOL MOOSE and a RECLUSIVE GOOSE webcentric marketing services initiatives
which include turnkey, content driven website development and maintenance plus web identity development and monitoring
against misrepresentation and harmful attributions.
As a media pioneer in the successful application
of tele-comm approaches for marketing big ticket, technology products, I have a special appreciation for applying multi-media
to improve the communications process and a special expertise in utilizing the compounding effects of all forms of tele --
or "remote" as derived from Greek -- media communications. Today, I am concerned with the corruption of the Internet
as a viable business communications medium due to hackers and spammers.
I've authored the courses
" The Art Of Marketing the Hard Soft Sell!, "(tm) a
sales and marketing seminar for professional service providers, and "Let's Make A Deal,"(tm)
a unique negotiating course which interweaves personal power and leverage into the process of deal
making. I've also developed"The Vector Marketing Grid,"(tm) & "Integrated Tele-Conceptual Approaches"(tm), both efficiency-based
sales/marketing systems.
Additionally, I've authored Articles on sales and marketing; created numerous client brochures and campaigns; plus conducted and published
Orignial Research.

I'm a skilled Negotiator of hundreds of contracts with Fortune 1,000 companies... and
have international experience in direct and third party channel sales.
Founder of Sottile's Winning Action Team, dba
S*W*A*T (sm) Tactical Marketing Agency, a
disciplined, self-sufficient, marketing resource which assists enterprises / entrepreneurs / professionals with
their needs in getting to market, or practice development.
Currently, I am working with film producers to launch a feature film production company
specializing in low budget movies (2-5M Euros), made for direct-to-DVD and/or streaming, which are to be filmed in Eastern
European countries.
A graduate of Dartmouth College, BA, Economics, with graduate
work at various universities and independent study.
I consider myself a "battle-hardened" from a wealth
of experiential learning through my self-funded companies, the numerous clients for whom I have "stood in the
trenches," and my past employment. Though not a gaming gambler, I am an intrepid risk-taker, forever searching
out uncharted business opportunities, new markets for old products, or a quota rescue missions.
I am a Past President of the former Yankee Thoroughbred
Breeders Organization, a nonprofit, trade organization promoting Thoroughbred breeding and racing in the Northeast...
and of the Mass Media Alliance, another non-profit trade organization promoting film, video, and multimedia industries
in New England.
For a change of pace, I produce, emcee and dj life, corporate, and military events
under the persona of JOHNNY HiHAT (tm). Additionally,
I offer top level production services and talent to the same clients through various agents.
Also, I am attempting
to isolate and perfect a color breed of double-toed, black and white Tuxedo cats. Since Johnny HiHat most always spins
tunes in a tuxedo, the breed is called JOHNNY HiHAT Cats! (tm).
But-of-course!

FOOTNOTE:
Functionality Rules!
|
I have witnessed the history of computer automation's successes
since it's adolescence. I also knows of the missed expectations, costly churn, and dead-ends of technology's ever changing
nature. To me,"Buying a cyber technology is like buy clothes for a teenager; growth and fashion outpace wear... And just as
charity clothes bins are filled with such discards; so are most IT offices. Consequently, I promote functionality over tech
popularity.
